Fiber Optics Termination
This course is a 2 day course that includes both lecture and lab work. The class starts with the basic theory of fiber optics, how it works and where it can be used. The class includes basic aspects of installation of fiber systems. Termination, testing, pulling fiber, do's and don't of fiber installation. Includes hands-on lab. Each student receives their own set of fiber optic hand tools, complete with microscope, safety glasses and zippered case along with the jumpers they finish in class. The last part of the class is FOA testing for national certification.
